Painter (León, 1937)
He studied at the School of Fine Arts of San Jorge, Barcelona and obtained the medal of the Faculty of Drawing. He made his first exhibition in 1972 in the Sala Provincia de León directed by the poet Antonio Gamoneda.
In 1980 she was selected by the Guggenheim in New York for the exhibition 'New Images from Spain', becoming the first Spanish woman with work in this prestigious museum.
In 1982, she began her career as a full professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona. And that same year he wrote his thesis on Religious Painting at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona.
In 1986 she was selected to participate in Arco Madrid. He has made more than 50 individual exhibitions and 70 collective ones in Spain, Europe and America.
In 2018, MUSAC dedicates a retrospective that reviews his entire artistic career.
